Drunk Woman Kisses Cop Lastnight in Kolkata

A woman allegedly kissed a police officer on duty when she was stopped for driving in a drunken state. She was later arrested for the incident.
At about midnight on Wednesday, the woman hit a divider along the bypass at Chingrighata Mor .The 38-year-old woman was accompanied by another man and a woman in the car.
A taxi officer came forward to assist her, but she allegedly assaulted him. When a constable from the Bidhannagar (South) police station tried to get her out of the car, the woman allegedly pulled him into an embrace and started kissing him.
Following this misadventure, a local woman was asked for assistance, and the woman was led to the police station.

Middle age man commits suicide by jumping infront of a train near Siliguri

A man said to be in his forties jumped in front of a local train heading to Katihar from Siliguri junction today morning around 11am near Naxalbari station at Panitanki outpost. The body of the man was cut into two halves. Sources say the deceased looks like a Nepali and could be a resident of Nepal as the incident took place near India-Nepal border. The train was immediately stopped after the incident. The body was later recovered by the railway staff and sent for post mortem. Train services resumed after a delay of 30 minutes said sources.
