Bus carrying pilgrims from Bhutan meets with an accident in Swarghat, Himachal Pradesh

A bus carrying 45 Bhutanese pilgrims met with an accident in Swarghat, Himachal Pradesh yesterday afternoon. The pilgrims were returning from Tsho Pema and Manikaran to Delhi. No casualties.

10 passengers, however, have been evacuated to a hospital in Chandigarh. The remaining passengers have been treated for minor injuries and are being looked after by the Sub Divisional Magistrate.

Meanwhile, 2 officials from the Royal Bhutanese Embassy in Delhi have left for Swarghat at the command of His Majesty the King. They reached the accident site last night and coordinated relief efforts.
