Sonam Ongmu Bhutia from Sikkim wins the 9th Angel Mega Model Hunt Northeast 2016 Sonam Ongmu Bhutia (23) from Mangan, North Sikkim has won the 9th Angels Mega Model Hunt Northeast 2016 in an event held at Dimapur, Nagaland today evening.

The event was organized by Get Gorgeous Society, Nagaland which witnessed the participation of a good number of North East beauties.

While Sonam was adjudged the winner of the much coveted title, Arun Imsong from Nagaland and Himadri Bhuyan from Assam became the first and second runners up respectively.

“I feel blessed. I’m simply out of words at the moment. I want to thank all those who have supported me throughout,” expressed Sonam while speaking to TNT. Sonam is a daughter of Rinchen Bhutia and Rebica Bhutia. Currently, she is working as a Junior Engineer under Rural Management and Development Department, Government of Sikkim.

She did her schooling from North Sikkim Academy, Mangan and her graduation from Gandhi Polytechnic College.

Middle age man commits suicide by jumping infront of a train near Siliguri

A man said to be in his forties jumped in front of a local train heading to Katihar from Siliguri junction today morning around 11am near Naxalbari station at Panitanki outpost. The body of the man was cut into two halves. Sources say the deceased looks like a Nepali and could be a resident of Nepal as the incident took place near India-Nepal border. The train was immediately stopped after the incident. The body was later recovered by the railway staff and sent for post mortem. Train services resumed after a delay of 30 minutes said sources.

Several dead bodies of children found in Thailand with their organs removed

Yesterday at 8pm the Thailand Govt found a Van with 100’s of Malaysian dead childrens without Organs in their bodies. Their organs were removed n sold. The bodies are wraped in plastics. They were caught by the Thai govt. Pls becareful with ur children wheather they are going to school, shoping, functions, playgrounds. Pls! Be with them.
