5.4 and 5.2M Earthquake Shake Nepal

Earthquake of 5.4 and 5.2 magnitude hit Nepal, including Siliguri, Darjeeling and other Sub-Himalayan belts of Bengal & Sikkim, in the wee hours, around 5 am today morning.

Namche Bazar, a small village in Eastern Nepal, border between Solukhumbu and Ramechap, close to Siliguri, Darjeeling & Sikkim, was its epicentre.

Several websites in Nepal have mentioned the first tremor to be 5.6 Magnitude.
