Siliguri Girl Wins the Best "Personality Award" at the Mrs India Contest held at New Delhi
ILS (ILoveSiliguri) just had a conversation with Ramanna Chettri, here is what she says on her win: ‘Winning the title of best personality at the Mrs India Earth 2016 contest brings immense happiness and a feeling of pride to me. The journey has not been easy for any of the contestant for that matter; well nothing is earned in an easy way. I got selected as top 40 contestants via application filled out and the round of interview that we had. At every step we were given some tasks to be performed and were scored on those lines. The pageant held was for a cause to save our mother Earth and as a campaign we planted and encouraged others to plant more and more tree and also avoid/limit the use of hazardous substance to nature.
Talking through my journey to pageant was never scheduled I believe,Coming from Siliguri and making it up till working as an auditor in one of the leading consulting firm ‘Ernst & Young’ at New York has been earned by me through my hardwork and dedication. To urge to make it big has never left me and I am not there yet, nowhere close actually, have to make tremendous marks yet… like I always say ‘shall make it big one day’ and I live by it.. My connection with Siliguri is deep. I am born to Nepali parents and did whole of schooling back home at Army School Khaprail (Sukna). So I did stay most of my life there. There was big jump ever since I moved out from siliguri however this town has given me so much.. I always wish to get back soon..
I am married to Paul family.. I am passionate to write and I do a lot my writing on my fashion blog/Roposo. My only message to all the beautiful people out there and mostly to married women is do not confine your dreams to just the four walls there is so much, who says life stops after marriage well I says it begins from there as you meet with your role of a wife and then you meet mother wood and so much more to achieve keep dreaming and keep working towards it. Also to all the people at Siliguri we are all so lucky to be blessed with such greenery all around let’s ensure we save it.
