35-40 people injured as Jalpaiguri-Siliguri bus overturns at Korotoya near Fatapukur today afternoon

A bus coming towards Siliguri from Jalpaiguri overturns by road side today afternoon. No casualties have been reported yet but around 35-40 people have been injured. Condition of some are said to be serious.

In another incident today morning a bus in Bihar plunges into river killing 50 people on board.

TRAGIC - 5 PEOPLE FROM SILIGURI DEAD IN ROHINI ACCIDENT

As per sources a vehicle from Siliguri going towards Kurseong fell from the cliff on Rohini Road yesterday. Some are saying the vehicle was coming down from Kurseong.  Total 5 people were in the vehicle out of which 4 are from Rathkhola and 1 from Babupara area of Siliguri. Rescue team is on spot and have rescued 4 bodies. Vehicle is not found yet as the cliff is very deep. The pic above is of our brother Rishab Das who died in this mishap. Biker Dead in Sikkim Accident

A biker succumbed to injury at Mining in Rangpo Sikkim accident which  took place around 8:10am in morning. Deceased biker name is MB Rai hailing from Rangpo who is a businessman by profession. Cause of accident is due to collision with a Passanger Service Vehcile Max heading towards Siliguri from Mangan. According to eye witnesses the bike hit the vehcile while overtaking.
