Negligence at Lohagarh Bridge Renovation

Locals in Lohagarh have accused colossal negligence on the part of Kurseong Engineering Department and Irrigation Department under GTA in relation to the ongoing Lohagarh bridge restoration work.

Locals have stated that the work being undertaken to fix the bridge damaged and unrestored since 2011 has been below par, and have cited lack of proper monitoring as one of the main reasons for a sub-standard work currently being undertaken.

The locals have demanded that a proper monitoring and survey of the ongoing work needs to be undertaken so that the bridge is built properly.

Middle age man commits suicide by jumping infront of a train near Siliguri

A man said to be in his forties jumped in front of a local train heading to Katihar from Siliguri junction today morning around 11am near Naxalbari station at Panitanki outpost. The body of the man was cut into two halves. Sources say the deceased looks like a Nepali and could be a resident of Nepal as the incident took place near India-Nepal border. The train was immediately stopped after the incident. The body was later recovered by the railway staff and sent for post mortem. Train services resumed after a delay of 30 minutes said sources.

Several dead bodies of children found in Thailand with their organs removed

Yesterday at 8pm the Thailand Govt found a Van with 100’s of Malaysian dead childrens without Organs in their bodies. Their organs were removed n sold. The bodies are wraped in plastics. They were caught by the Thai govt. Pls becareful with ur children wheather they are going to school, shoping, functions, playgrounds. Pls! Be with them.
