Dipa Karmakar, Jitu Rai Recommended for Khel Ratna

Asian Games gold medallist Jitu Rai and gymnast Dipa Karmakar have been recommended for the Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna Award. Jitu have been recommended for the prestigious award for his exploits in pistol shooting in the last two years although he couldn’t win a medal in the Rio Olympics.

Dipa created history last week when she became the first Indian gymnast to qualify for the final of the women’s vault final. Up against American Simone Biles and other top gymnasts from the world, Dipa held her nerves and procured 15.266 points when she pulled off the produnova in front of an awestruck audience. She was third on the table but Biles’ remarkable effort saw the Indian slip down to fourth.

Middle age man commits suicide by jumping infront of a train near Siliguri

A man said to be in his forties jumped in front of a local train heading to Katihar from Siliguri junction today morning around 11am near Naxalbari station at Panitanki outpost. The body of the man was cut into two halves. Sources say the deceased looks like a Nepali and could be a resident of Nepal as the incident took place near India-Nepal border. The train was immediately stopped after the incident. The body was later recovered by the railway staff and sent for post mortem. Train services resumed after a delay of 30 minutes said sources.

Several dead bodies of children found in Thailand with their organs removed

Yesterday at 8pm the Thailand Govt found a Van with 100’s of Malaysian dead childrens without Organs in their bodies. Their organs were removed n sold. The bodies are wraped in plastics. They were caught by the Thai govt. Pls becareful with ur children wheather they are going to school, shoping, functions, playgrounds. Pls! Be with them. Dont trust any known or unknown people with your children. Do not let them play alone or go with strangers anywhere. Take Care all childrens.
