Bangladeshi media circulates fake report saying that 'Pakhi' was involved in a sex racket

Bengali actress Madhumita Chakraborty who has recently been in the headlines for all the wrong reasons has decided to seek help from minister Arup Biswas. The actress was left humiliated when a section of Bangladeshi media circulated a report saying that she was involved in a sex racket. Mrs. Chakraborty accompanied by her husband Saurav Chakraborty had lodged a complaint at Lalbazar on Friday accusing a section of Bangladesh based web portals of circulating her morphed images and falsifying facts. She also lodged a complaint to the cyber cell of Kolkata police on fake Facebook and Twitter accounts in her name deliberately maligning her reputation.

Middle age man commits suicide by jumping infront of a train near Siliguri

A man said to be in his forties jumped in front of a local train heading to Katihar from Siliguri junction today morning around 11am near Naxalbari station at Panitanki outpost. The body of the man was cut into two halves. Sources say the deceased looks like a Nepali and could be a resident of Nepal as the incident took place near India-Nepal border. The train was immediately stopped after the incident. The body was later recovered by the railway staff and sent for post mortem. Train services resumed after a delay of 30 minutes said sources.
