Ngo Marg rescues Darjeeling girl from Bahrain

Hats Off to NGO MARG : Baiharia Case of Darjeeling woman in trouble
Thank you Nirnay John of MARG
On 5th of June 2017 MARG’s What’s App and email flooded with the viral audio and photo of a lady from Darjeeling who was tortured and was seeking help for her recovery from a foreign land Bahrain. MARG took up this case only when her husband sent us a written request in the afternoon.
Instantly a request was sent to the Indian Embassy Bahrain and the mail was copied to Honorable Minister Ms. Sushma Swaraj, MP of Darjeeling, Special Police Unit for North East Folks New Delhi and Mr. Roshan Lepcha Lepcha (Indian Foreign Service) official SP Darjeeling Mr. Amit Javalgi and DM Darjeeling.
Mr. Roshan Lepcha again forwarded the mail sent by MARG to his colleagues in Bahrain in the Indian Embassy with his comments. Within few minutes we received acknowledgement from the embassy. Happy to inform you all that the lady is in the safe custody of the Indian Embassy Bahrain. The email speaks for itself.
MARG would like to thank the following individuals personally for their selfless service. Ms. Meera Sisodia an official from the Indian Embassy, Mr. Roshan Lepcha (IFS) and Mr. Ram Thapa and his friends from Bahrain and my own friend Mr. Birender Kalikotey without whom this recovery would not have been possible. Indeed together we can.
