Mother and daughter dead after being hit by a speeding train near Siliguri at Fulbari Station

A very tragic incident has shocked the residents of Fulbari area near Siliguri today morning.

At around 9.30am a mother and her child died in spot after a speeding train hit them at Fulbari Maloncga Station near Siliguri.

The deceased have been identified as Mousumi Mohonto (25) and her daughter Tusu Mohonto (8).

The little girl was in her school uniform and sources say her mom was going to drop her to school.

How this happened is yet much not known. Locals arrived on the spot when the incident took place.

Middle age man commits suicide by jumping infront of a train near Siliguri

A man said to be in his forties jumped in front of a local train heading to Katihar from Siliguri junction today morning around 11am near Naxalbari station at Panitanki outpost. The body of the man was cut into two halves. Sources say the deceased looks like a Nepali and could be a resident of Nepal as the incident took place near India-Nepal border. The train was immediately stopped after the incident. The body was later recovered by the railway staff and sent for post mortem. Train services resumed after a delay of 30 minutes said sources.

Several dead bodies of children found in Thailand with their organs removed
