Students from Sikkim to Travel to Japan for Youth Exchange Programme - All the Best

Four students have been selected by the Union HRD Ministry from Sikkim for the Japan Asia Youth Exchange Program in Science also known as SAKURA Exchange Program in Science. The program has been launched by Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST) with the objective of enhancing exchange between the youths of Japan and rest of Asia.

The selected science students are Abisek Pandey (Singtam SSS) Roshan Kumar Rai (Sir TNSS, Gangtok), Bijoy Neopaney (Sir TNSS, Gangtok) and Mohan Chandra Sharma (Dentam SSS).

The students were selected on the basis of their performance in Science subject wherein they have scored 90 percent and above CGPA in the class X board examination held in 2016. The students will be in Japan for a weeklong program from April 16-22.
