Road and Transport Minister headed to Delhi today via Bagdogra Airport after Sikkim Visit

Shree Nitin Gadkari Hon'ble Union Minister for Road Transport Highways and Shipping reached Bagdogra Airport at 3pm from Gangtok enroute to Delhi. He enquired regarding number of flights from Bagdogra Airport. He was informed that Bagdogra Airport has 22 schedule flights daily and handled 15 lakh passengers in the just ended financial year. He was also informed that traffic is growing at 40 percent year on year.

The minister was in Sikkim to inaugurate several highway projects.
