Hoax Message Of Baba Ramdevs Car Accident Goes Viral On Whatsapp Today

A hoax message of a car accident involving Baba Ramdev on the Mumbai-Pune highway on Tuesday had gone viral on Whatsapp.

The messages doing the rounds suggested that the yoga guru along with four others had been injured in a car accident while he was going from Pune to Mumbai. One of the photos show Ramdev on a stretcher.

However, the highway control officers debunked the rumours. An officer said: “No such incident have taken place on Mumbai-Pune highway. The messages are fake.” The photos are actually from 2011, when the yoga guru was taken to a hospital in Bihar after an accident.

Middle age man commits suicide by jumping infront of a train near Siliguri

A man said to be in his forties jumped in front of a local train heading to Katihar from Siliguri junction today morning around 11am near Naxalbari station at Panitanki outpost. The body of the man was cut into two halves. Sources say the deceased looks like a Nepali and could be a resident of Nepal as the incident took place near India-Nepal border. The train was immediately stopped after the incident. The body was later recovered by the railway staff and sent for post mortem. Train services resumed after a delay of 30 minutes said sources.
