Dangerous bike accident on Rohini Kurseong road - No one helped bleeding biker for 40 minutes

A biker hits a electricity pole at high speed on Rohini road towards Kurseong around 4.30pm today afternoon.

One of our readers Shadab who passed the accident site after around 40 minutes informed us that no one had helped him and he was lying unconscious in a pool of blood coming out from his head.

As Shadab was stopping vehicles to take him to hospital soon a army ambulance came and took him away.

It's informed the youth is too from the army and has been very badly injured. Eyewitnesses say they doubt if he will survive.

A lady too was with him on the bike. She is safe.

Reason of accident is not know as there was no one at the site when this happened.

Middle age man commits suicide by jumping infront of a train near Siliguri

A man said to be in his forties jumped in front of a local train heading to Katihar from Siliguri junction today morning around 11am near Naxalbari station at Panitanki outpost. The body of the man was cut into two halves. Sources say the deceased looks like a Nepali and could be a resident of Nepal as the incident took place near India-Nepal border. The train was immediately stopped after the incident. The body was later recovered by the railway staff and sent for post mortem. Train services resumed after a delay of 30 minutes said sources.
