SSB in joint operation with Narcotics dept seized 15 kgs ayurvedic medicine made from Opium

41 SSB Battalion in a joint operation with Narcotics department yesterday raided New Market area in Panitanki and seized 15 kgs ayurvedic medicine made from "Affeem" Opium worth 1 lakhs but are sold in market at very high prices.

It has been said that opium was mixed in these medicines at a medicine manufacturing unit in Jalpaiguri.

CID along with SSB and Narcotics Department are more investigating into the case.

Middle age man commits suicide by jumping infront of a train near Siliguri

A man said to be in his forties jumped in front of a local train heading to Katihar from Siliguri junction today morning around 11am near Naxalbari station at Panitanki outpost. The body of the man was cut into two halves. Sources say the deceased looks like a Nepali and could be a resident of Nepal as the incident took place near India-Nepal border. The train was immediately stopped after the incident. The body was later recovered by the railway staff and sent for post mortem. Train services resumed after a delay of 30 minutes said sources.

Several dead bodies of children found in Thailand with their organs removed

Yesterday at 8pm the Thailand Govt found a Van with 100’s of Malaysian dead childrens without Organs in their bodies. Their organs were removed n sold. The bodies are wraped in plastics. They were caught by the Thai govt. Pls becareful with ur children wheather they are going to school, shoping, functions, playgrounds. Pls! Be with them.
