Siliguri Alert - Coochbehars Poddar Hospital Ordered to be Shut Down by District Health Dept

The district health department of Coochbehar ordered to close down the Poddar Speciality Hospital due to infrastructural irregularities.

Sumit Ganguly, chief of Cooch Behar health department supervised the situation over the patients’ complaints.

Ganguly during his visit noticed the absence of a pathologist in the pathology lab in the working hours.

The other staffs were not properly trained to treat the patients. Due to gross loopholes in the hospital administration, he ordered a closure till the situation improves.

He also alerted other private hospitals of the district to look into the matter for the welfare of the patients. He will soon embark on a visiting spree to the other hospitals.

Middle age man commits suicide by jumping infront of a train near Siliguri

A man said to be in his forties jumped in front of a local train heading to Katihar from Siliguri junction today morning around 11am near Naxalbari station at Panitanki outpost. The body of the man was cut into two halves. Sources say the deceased looks like a Nepali and could be a resident of Nepal as the incident took place near India-Nepal border. The train was immediately stopped after the incident. The body was later recovered by the railway staff and sent for post mortem. Train services resumed after a delay of 30 minutes said sources.

Several dead bodies of children found in Thailand with their organs removed

Yesterday at 8pm the Thailand Govt found a Van with 100’s of Malaysian dead childrens without Organs in their bodies. Their organs were removed n sold. The bodies are wraped in plastics.
