4 Year Girl from Mirik is brand Ambassador of the National Brand Mother Dairy

Amaya, a 4 year old girl from Mirik Darjeeling, currently in Delhi, is now the brand ambassador of the national brand Mother Dairy. She has recently completed her first Television Commercial and her print ad. Both have been featured in major entertainment channels and all leading newspapers in India.

Just few hours after the upload in the social media, The TVC has managed to gather more than 12k Views. The TVC has been produced by Chrome Pictures which is a film based company in Mumbai.

Her aunt Ms. Annapurna says- "We are all very excited. It was a wonderful opportunity given to Amaya. Her mother (Sanchaita Pradhan ) has played a very important role in shaping her personality and raising her to be a confident, vivacious, expressive and a curious child."

Middle age man commits suicide by jumping infront of a train near Siliguri

A man said to be in his forties jumped in front of a local train heading to Katihar from Siliguri junction today morning around 11am near Naxalbari station at Panitanki outpost. The body of the man was cut into two halves. Sources say the deceased looks like a Nepali and could be a resident of Nepal as the incident took place near India-Nepal border. The train was immediately stopped after the incident. The body was later recovered by the railway staff and sent for post mortem. Train services resumed after a delay of 30 minutes said sources.
