New Clues in Jalpaiguri Child Trafficking Case

CID blew off the lid of a child trafficking racket conducting raids in North 24 Parganas and Kolkata since November in 2016 and now they got major clues in Jalpaiguri child trafficking case.

A senior police officr said Sonali Mondal, Chief Adoption Officer of an NGO was arrested by CID sleuths accompanied by local police from Falakata earlier in the day. CID also lodged FIR against BJp women leader named Juhi Chowdhury. According to CID report, all children were trafficked into America, France and Singapore. Many government official also has been involved in this trafficking racket alleged Child Welfare Committee.

Earlier, the chairperson of a children’s NGO was arrested by a CID team on Saturday on charge of selling 17 children in Jalpaiguri district.

A senior police officer said Chandana Chakraborty, the Chairperson of Bimala Sishu Griho, was arrested by a seven- member CID team accompanied by district police from the NGO’s office in Falakata area of the district.

Middle age man commits suicide by jumping infront of a train near Siliguri

A man said to be in his forties jumped in front of a local train heading to Katihar from Siliguri junction today morning around 11am near Naxalbari station at Panitanki outpost. The body of the man was cut into two halves. Sources say the deceased looks like a Nepali and could be a resident of Nepal as the incident took place near India-Nepal border. The train was immediately stopped after the incident. The body was later recovered by the railway staff and sent for post mortem. Train services resumed after a delay of 30 minutes said sources.

Several dead bodies of children found in Thailand with their organs removed
