Darjeeling Girl Clears UPSC Civil Services

Our heartfelt congratulations to Ms. Yangchen Bhutia who has cleared the UPSC Civil Services examinations and will be joining as Indian Revenue Services officer.

The eldest daughter of Mrs. Nimdoma Sherpa (Santu) and Mr. Mingma Wangdi Bhutia completed her schooling from Holy Cross school in Sonada, and her ISC from Himali Boarding school. Following this, she completed her BCom (Hons) degree from Sri Ram College of Commerce in Delhi, and her PGDM from IIM Indore.

By clearing some of the toughest exams in the country Yangchen has proven that our Gorkha daughters can stand shoulder to shoulder with everyone else in the nation.

THANK YOU YANGCHEN for being so INSPIRATIONAL... we are most hopeful that your success will inspire thousands of our youths to follow on your footsteps.

Yang is Bright girl who achieved great success Becoming IRS She used to live in our house in safdarjung Jung Enclave New Delhi in rented house 2015-2016 while preparing for IAS But IRS also Good. in IAS you can do social service directly for public IRS is indirect social service but both way serving our Nation.

Middle age man commits suicide by jumping infront of a train near Siliguri

A man said to be in his forties jumped in front of a local train heading to Katihar from Siliguri junction today morning around 11am near Naxalbari station at Panitanki outpost. The body of the man was cut into two halves. Sources say the deceased looks like a Nepali and could be a resident of Nepal as the incident took place near India-Nepal border. The train was immediately stopped after the incident. The body was later recovered by the railway staff and sent for post mortem. Train services resumed after a delay of 30 minutes said sources.

Largest casino chain Deltin enters Sikkim

The country's largest casino chain Deltin Group said it opened its first facility at Gangtok, capital of Sikkim, under the brand name of Casino Deltin Denzong.  The casino, at the Denzong Regency hotel situated 6,000-feet above sea level and offering a breathtaking view of the world's third highest peak Mt Kanchenjuga, comes with 169 gaming positions spread across two levels.  Deltin already runs Asia's largest floating casino, Deltin Royale and also the country's first casino flotel, Deltin Caravela in Goa.  Delta Corp got the licence last July from Denzong Regency Hotel to run the run casino at its premises on lease, Ashish Kapadia, managing director of Delta Corp said.
