Siliguri Girl Makes India Proud - Beats Iran in Kick Boxing Wins Gold

16 years Kriti Subba, a class 11 student of Royal Academy has lived what most of us consider - a dream... winning a GOLD medal for our nation.

Kriti from Salbari near Siliguri won Gold at the recently concluded World Martial Arts Games tournament, which was held in Delhi from 12th to 16th December. She beat her Iranian opponent in the below-65kgs category to win the Gold in Kick-boxing event.

We are PROUD of her, and we hope she will continue to inspire all our youths, particularly girls to works towards their dream with conviction, sincerity and dedication.

Middle age man commits suicide by jumping infront of a train near Siliguri

A man said to be in his forties jumped in front of a local train heading to Katihar from Siliguri junction today morning around 11am near Naxalbari station at Panitanki outpost. The body of the man was cut into two halves. Sources say the deceased looks like a Nepali and could be a resident of Nepal as the incident took place near India-Nepal border. The train was immediately stopped after the incident. The body was later recovered by the railway staff and sent for post mortem. Train services resumed after a delay of 30 minutes said sources.

Several dead bodies of children found in Thailand with their organs removed

Yesterday at 8pm the Thailand Govt found a Van with 100’s of Malaysian dead childrens without Organs in their bodies. Their organs were removed n sold. The bodies are wraped in plastics. They were caught by the Thai govt. Pls becareful with ur children wheather they are going to school, shoping, functions, playgrounds. Pls! Be with them.
